PT. PROTO INDONESIA (hereinafter, PROTO INDONESIA) was established in the Republic of Indonesia (hereinafter, Indonesia), as described below.
In order to promote the further growth of the automobile-related business which is the core of our business, we made MTM Multimedia Sdn. Bhd. (Currently, PROTO MALAYSIA Sdn. Bhd.), a used automobile-related information corporation in Malaysia, into a subsidiary in September of 2011, and we established PROTO (TAIWAN) CO., LTD. in December of 2011 and PROTO SINGAPORE Pte. Ltd. in May of 2012 with the goal of working to expand our automobile-related information business globally.
In such situation, a subsidiary in Indonesia was jointly established by the two companies, PROTO SINGAPORE Pte. Ltd. and PROTO MALAYSIA Sdn. Bhd., in order to develop the automobile-related information business and the Internet-related business.
Indonesia's economic growth rate in 2010, at 6.1*%, has exceeded the world average of 4.0*%, and in the future, further expansion of the market for automobile-related business and Internet-related business is expected.
With the establishment of PROTO INDONESIA, we will expand the automobile-related information business globally and further strengthen the Internet-related business.
The influence this will have on the consolidated business performance for the fiscal year ending March 2013 is expected to be minor.
